Buses

  • Know your bus stop
  • Keep the aisle clear
  • Sit in your assigned seat if you have one
  • Remember to take all of your things with you when you get off the bus

  • Follow the directions of the bus driver the first time
  • Keep a level 1 voice level.  Turn your voice to a level 0 when the bus stops at a railroad crossing
  • Keep your hand, feet, and objects to yourself
  • Help keep the bus clean

  • Sit "bottom to bottom, back to back"
  • Face forward and stay seated when the bus is moving
  • Look for the bus driver's signal if you need to cross the street
  • Stay out of the road when waiting at the bus stop

  • Allow others to sit with you
  • Clean up any trash near your seat when you get off the bus
  • Tell your bus driver "hello," "goodbye," and even "thank you"

Watch the video below and discuss what behaviors you see.
